A woman shared how ‘hotwifing’ changed her marriage.
If you haven’t heard, hotwifing is a growing sex trend gaining popularity worldwide.
Many couples now explore swinging, from throuples to “spicy cruises.”
Opening your relationship isn’t for everyone.
But those who practice hotwifing claim it has “saved their relationships.”
One content creator says hotwifing improved her relationship with her husband.
Similar to cuckolding — where men watch their partners with someone else —
hotwifing involves a husband encouraging his wife to sleep with other people.
Sometimes, the husband may even watch his wife in action.
Why do some men enjoy this?
One husband told Mail Online:
“It’s like letting your friend test drive your car.
He gets to see how well it rides.
He’s got to give it back, but it creates a sense of pride.”
Adult content creator Holly Jones became a fan of the hotwife lifestyle after her now-husband introduced her to it on their first date.
They ended up having an “accidental” foursome with another couple.
On the Holly Randall Unfiltered podcast, she said:
“He was in the lifestyle before. He introduced me to it, and ever since our first date we’ve been hotwifing.”
Holly explained why her husband loves it:
“He would always say, ‘I have the hottest woman in the world, why would I not want to share?’
‘I have this cool LEGO set, why would I not want to show it to my boys?’
It’s not degrading. It’s more like, ‘Look what I have.’
It’s a trophy thing, but it also fulfils his fantasies.
There’s nothing disrespectful about it. It feels comfortable to us.”
Holly says opening their relationship made it stronger.
“There’s so much communication, honesty, and trust,” she explained.
She and her husband can “talk about anything and everything.”
Holly added:
“I have a best friend, a husband, a teammate. We’re parents together.
You share that, so you can grow, grow, grow.
If we’re stagnant in our relationship, we’re not doing anything.
The moment you confess a fantasy, you take a step forward.
That’s how your relationship grows.”
She stressed that hotwifing depends on personalities.
“We don’t really have jealousy issues or insecurities,” she said.
Naturally, the trend has downsides.
One sex expert warns it might not be as progressive as it seems.
Claudia Aguirre told Men’s Health:
“Some men in the cuckold/hotwife lifestyle seem less interested in their wives’ freedom and more focused on choreographing their own pleasure.
In some cases, a wife may not enjoy being a character in her husband’s scripts.”
Still, many experts agree it can add excitement to a relationship if both partners consent and enjoy it.
Men’s Health sex podcaster Jess O’Reilly advised:
“Debrief after new encounters to ensure you both feel safe and cared for.
When things go well, use the conversation and memories to fuel excitement and connection.
If things don’t go well, share insights, offer support, and discuss how to do things differently next time.”
