In Kentucky, a father quickly reacted when he heard a sound no parent ever wants to hear. What he discovered next led to serious charges against a 20-year-old man.
The Boone County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call from a home in Florence around midnight on April 28. The father, after hearing strange noises from his daughter’s room, discovered a man, Parker Kramer, lying naked on the floor when he opened the door.
According to the sheriff’s office, the father heard strange noises from his daughter’s room and, upon opening the door, found Parker Kramer lying naked on the floor.
The incident took place on Brittany Trail. Police quickly set up a perimeter but initially had difficulty locating Kramer. They later discovered his car and keys nearby. After showing the father a photo of Kramer, he confirmed that it was the same man he had seen in his daughter’s room.
The search intensified, with officers from Florence and even a drone assisting in the effort. After two hours, police located Kramer hiding in the woods near Mt. Zion Road and Interstate 71/75. Major Philip Ridgell of Boone County stated that Kramer had likely been waiting for the police to leave.
Kramer is reported to have admitted to having s*x with the girl upon his capture. Things got much worse when he came clean about what he had done—r*pe and sodomy were charges against him. Right now, Kramer is under charge with stealing, two charges of second-degree r*pe, and one count of second-degree sodomy. He is staying at the Boone County Jail with a $250,000 cash bond.
