Backstreet Boys star Nick Carter has finally responded after facing new shocking allegations.
The 45-year-old singer is now being sued by a fourth accuser, Laura Penly. She claims Carter sexually assaulted her and caused emotional distress. Penly also alleges he gave her multiple STDs.
Laura Penly said she met Nick Carter in 2004 when she was 19. She claimed they began a consensual relationship. During sex, she allegedly asked him to use a condom, but Carter refused, insisting he was “clean.”
In early 2005, at a Los Angeles apartment, Penly said Carter threw her onto a bed.
She claimed he raped her from behind while she said “no” multiple times. Afterward, Carter allegedly told her never to speak about the assault.
Penly said Carter later apologized and asked her to visit him again. During that visit, she refused sex, but Carter allegedly assaulted her again while she told him to stop.
Penly claimed Carter infected her with multiple STDs, including HPV, chlamydia, and gonorrhea. She said she later developed cervical cancer, needed surgery, and endured cancer treatment.
Penly also claimed Carter’s assaults caused emotional distress, physical pain, and lasting medical and intimacy issues.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Carter denied the new accusations through his legal team.
In a statement, his lawyers said: “This is more nonsense from a group of conspirators trying to destroy Nick Carter.”
They added:“These false claims always surface during major milestones in his career to cause maximum damage.”
Carter’s legal team said he doesn’t remember meeting Penly or having any relationship with her.
They also alleged Penly has a history of legal and financial problems, including bankruptcy and fraud lawsuits.
This isn’t the first time Nick Carter has faced rape and STD accusations.
In 2022, Shannon “Shay” Ruth accused Carter of sexually assaulting her on a tour bus in 2001.
She claimed she later tested positive for HPV after the alleged assault.
In 2023, Melissa Schuman also sued Carter for an alleged assault in Los Angeles in 2002.
Schuman claimed she too tested positive for HPV after the incident.
