Since shedding over 60 pounds, Lizzo has proudly showcased her impressive body transformation. In a new Instagram post from Thursday, May 1, the “Still Bad” singer looked more toned than ever while trying on her YITTY swimwear.
“This is my new uniform!” she excitedly exclaimed, bouncing around in a tiny purple bikini. “Our bottoms are just the right amount of cheeky, not too thongy.”
Lizzo’s excitement was contagious as she gushed about YITTY’s latest swimwear collection. “YITTY swim has always been amazing, but we really put our necks, our backs, our yitties, and our cracks into this drop,” she shared. “We’re showing a little more skin, but we’re still rocking this amazing, supportive fabric we all love.”
The “Juice” singer kept the fitting going by slipping into a white one-piece. Having recently shed a significant amount of weight, Lizzo knew exactly how to showcase the flattering design.
Lizzo embraced every moment during her swimsuit fitting, sharing her excitement with fans. “For all the girls who like to cover up but still show up, this swimsuit is for you,” she said, confidently flaunting her curves. “You’re hugged, loved, and supported. The girls are lifted up! Spice up your life!”
Trying on the next swimsuit, a fiery red one-piece, Lizzo couldn’t contain her enthusiasm. “I am f—— gagged!” she exclaimed. “This is the go-to for snatching swimsuits this summer.”
As the fitting continued, the swimsuits became smaller and more daring, but Lizzo kept her confidence high. She proudly showed off how great the bikinis made her feel, radiating body positivity with every outfit change.
“Look how cute this is,” Lizzo said, admiring her tiny string bikini. “We’re bouncing, we’re bouncing! And yes, we’re showing a lot of body, but it’s still in that amazing fabric.”
Next, she slipped into a fitted black one-piece, praising its shape. “She’s a classic for a reason — and don’t call it a comeback, hunny,” Lizzo joked, owning her stunning transformation.
While her new YITTY swimwear line boasts waist-cinching fabric, Lizzo hardly needed the extra support. She looked flawless in every suit, confidently flaunting her body and proving how far she’s come in her weight loss journey.
Lizzo began her “weight release journey” in 2023, and her progress has been remarkable. During an April TikTok livestream, the star opened up about the changes she made to achieve the results she wanted.
“I calmed myself down, and I isolated a little bit. But not in a way that made me feel lonely, not like I used to when I was depressed,” she explained. “I isolated myself in a mindful way, eliminating distractions. I used to love distracting myself with problems I created, but I stopped doing that and just focused on me.”
