Lil Nas X, 26, revealed from his hospital bed on April 14 that he’s battling partial facial paralysis and is now under medical care.
Lil Nas X shared a video from his hospital bed, revealing he lost control of the right side of his face. “This is me doing a full smile… what the f—? I can’t even laugh right, bro,” he said, trying to grin.
The rapper wore a Von Dutch hat to lighten the moment despite the scare.
n a follow-up video, Lil Nas X zoomed in on the left side of his face, joking, “we normal over here,” before panning to the right and adding, “we get crazy over here.”
He reassured fans he was fine, telling his followers, “Stop being sad for me! Shake ur a– for me instead! Imma look funny for a lil bit but that’s it.”
Fans and fellow stars filled the comments with love and support after Lil Nas X shared his health update. Actress Niecy Nash wrote, “Wishing you a speedy recovery,” while Taraji P. Henson added, “Get well baby.”

The “Industry Baby” rapper shared a serene photo of the sun over the ocean, paired with the song “Run to the Sun” by N.E.R.D. The view, seemingly taken from above, left fans guessing about its location and timing.
Despite the health hiccup, Lil Nas X is still set to headline the Outloud Music Festival during West Hollywood Pride on May 31 and June 1.
