Keeping Up With the… Celibacy?
Khloé Kardashian has reportedly gone nearly five years without intimacy — and according to sources close to the star, it’s going to take someone truly exceptional, with relentless drive and charisma, to reignite that spark.
The 40-year-old told Us Weekly that she’s open to intimacy again — but only if the right person comes along. “You’re going to have to be really special to disrupt my current lifestyle, my schedule, and how I prioritize my time,” she explained. “Just to even make me feel those butterflies.”
Khloé admitted she’s “pretty guarded” these days, adding, “It will have to be a special, persistent person.”
Khloé Kardashian opened up about why she’s stepped back from the dating scene, admitting her focus has shifted entirely to her children — daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2.
“I’m so focused on my kids, and I know this sounds crazy, but I don’t want anyone to take me away from them,” the reality star told Us Weekly. “Not that I would let that happen, but I just don’t know if I want the distraction right now.”
The Good American co-founder, who shares her two children with ex Tristan Thompson, added that her priority is being present as a mom. “I still have young kids — not that I’m saying I’m gonna wait till they’re 20 — but it would have to be someone really, really special for me to want to share my time between another person and my children.”
Kardashian, who was previously married to former NBA star Lamar Odom and dated Thompson until 2021, also reflected on her past experiences with unfaithful partners.
“Like, why do I keep picking these people?” she said. “Now I feel like I’m really strong, and I pray I can identify certain red flags or things I just don’t want to receive anymore.”
Khloé Kardashian recently turned heads with a surprising revelation on her new series Khloé In Wonderland, hinting that she’s finally open to stepping back into the dating scene.
In a candid conversation with celebrity divorce attorney Laura Wasser, the reality star left fans both intrigued and puzzled when she explained that her commitment to fitness isn’t about public attention — it’s about being ready for intimacy. “I don’t dress or work out for attention; I do it because I hope I’ll get laid,” she quipped. “I’m like, someone’s gonna see this body naked one day and it has to look good.”
Despite the humorous tone, Kardashian has also been vocal about not having dated anyone since her highly publicized split from Tristan Thompson in 2021. The two, who share daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 2, ended their on-and-off relationship after repeated cheating scandals involving the NBA star.
Now, as co-parents, Khloé and Tristan are navigating new challenges — particularly when it comes to setting boundaries. According to sources close to the family, the exes’ frequent visits to each other’s homes have reportedly led to confusion for their daughter True, who is beginning to question the nature of her parents’ relationship.
While Khloé may be inching toward reentering the dating world, it’s clear she’s treading carefully — prioritizing her children, emotional clarity, and, of course, maintaining that gym-earned glow.
Khloé Kardashian is raising eyebrows with a new confession about her co-parenting dynamic with ex Tristan Thompson. On a recent episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians, the reality star opened up to her best friend Malika Haqq about the complicated nature of their relationship — especially how it’s impacting their daughter, True.
“True thinks me and Tristan are married,” Khloé shared candidly. “It is the right thing to do, in my opinion – get married, have kids. That’s what I want to teach her.”
While Khloé and Tristan split in 2021 following multiple infidelity scandals, sources say the former couple have grown increasingly involved in each other’s lives again — and the lack of clear boundaries is starting to confuse not only their daughter, but also Thompson himself.
“Tristan is frustrated because Khloé has refused to take him back and give him another chance,” an insider told us. “But she also isn’t moving on or making it very comfortable for him to move on either.”
Despite living just a few doors apart, their closeness is reportedly starting to feel suffocating for the NBA player. “There are zero boundaries — she’ll pop over whenever she wants with the kids, and he spends a ton of time at her place,” the source revealed. “Any time Tristan says he wants more space, Khloé gets pouty. It’s a complete head trip, because she’s very clear that she doesn’t want to be with him.”
The insider added that Tristan has begun trying to date again, but Khloé’s persistent presence is starting to complicate things. “He’s starting to get annoyed and wants clear boundaries drawn. The codependency is taking a toll.”
With both Khloé and Tristan navigating the murky waters of co-parenting and personal growth, it seems a long-overdue conversation about space — and clarity — may be on the horizon.
Khloé Kardashian’s reflections on marriage and family life show her longing for a picture-perfect future — especially for her two children. The reality TV star recently opened up about how she envisions her kids seeing love, affection, and romance in their lives.
In a heartfelt conversation, Khloé shared her disappointment over True not witnessing the kind of love she hopes for her daughter. “True doesn’t see me and Tristan kiss or sleep in the same bed,” Khloé admitted. “I would love my kids to see me have a husband one day, and I’d love for them to see love and affection and romance. I do want them to have that.”
Her desire to provide a model of love and affection for her children suggests Khloé still holds on to an idealized view of marriage, even amid the challenges in her own relationships.
