Kim Woodburn, the iconic reality TV star known for her no-nonsense sass and expert cleaning tips, has sadly passed away at 83.
Kim Woodburn’s manager confirmed her passing to BBC News, sharing that she died after a short illness.
“It is with immense sadness that we let you know our beloved Kim Woodburn passed away yesterday,” the statement read.
“Kim was kind, caring, charismatic, and strong. Her husband Peter is heartbroken at losing his soulmate.
We’re proud of everything she achieved in her life and career.”
Known for her sharp tongue, fearless opinions, and iconic TV moments, Kim became a cult favorite in British reality television.
Kim Woodburn had been facing growing health concerns in the months before her passing.
She canceled work commitments and told fans she was taking time off to recover.
In her final video on Valentine’s Day, she cheerfully greeted fans:
“Hello my loves! I hope you are all okay and keeping well.”
Earlier this year, she added:
“No more videos for now, my loves, I need to get better!”
Her Instagram later shared:
“Kim is unable to record any further videos for the foreseeable future, due to a health problem. Kim sends her love to you all.”
She had also undergone eye surgery.
The Sun reported she had battled partial blindness all her life.
In a 2011 interview, Kim said:
“If you watch me carefully you’ll see I never stare at people and I blink a lot.
If I need to see something far away, I swivel my whole body and look from my good eye.
I was born with little or no sight in my right eye, and not great sight in my left.”
Just before the attacks, Boelter sent a chilling message to his Minneapolis roommates.
“I’ll be dead shortly. I love you guys both. I wish it hadn’t gone this way,” he said.
He added, “I don’t want to implicate you—because you don’t know anything—but I’m sorry for the trouble.”
Police say his motives appear rooted in extremism.
Though he had no official political affiliation, he held strong anti-abortion views and once supported Donald Trump.
However, the “No Kings” flyers found in his car suggest he also felt anger toward the Trump administration.
Born in March 1942, Kim left home at 16 and began working as a live-in cleaner.
Her life took a major turn in 2002.
Channel 4 was looking for a cleaner with a “funny temperament” for a new show—Kim was the perfect fit.
After a successful screen test, she was paired with Aggie MacKenzie, and How Clean Is Your House was born.
The duo hosted six series through 2009.
That same year, Kim entered the jungle on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here, finishing as runner-up to Gino D’Acampo.
Kim later appeared on Celebrity Come Dine With Me and quickly became a fan-favorite on Big Brother spin-offs.
In 2017, she entered the Celebrity Big Brother house and finished in third place.
From scrubbing filthy homes to igniting fiery debates on reality TV, Kim earned her place as one of television’s most outspoken—and beloved—personalities.
