Nichols looked back on his first role.

The movie follows twin sisters Madison and Alex Stewart as they vacation in the Bahamas with their parents.
Eager to enjoy their Caribbean trip, the girls plunge into tropical adventures and teen romance.
Nichols, then 18 or 19, played Griffen Grayson, a vacationer who befriends the twins during their stay.
Now 44, Nichols opened up on the Drama Queens podcast.

“I was too old, and it felt weird and wrong,” he said, adding that while he looked young, he knew the age gap was real and unsettling.
He raised concerns with both producers and Mary-Kate’s father.
Who was on set, but said no one else seemed bothered.
“Nobody was concerned, and I was very concerned,” he shared. “But it turned out fine—it was all very G-rated.”
Nichols once viewed Holiday in the Sun as a “silly” role, but fan love changed his perspective.
“When you’re young and chasing cool projects, you sometimes overlook the ones people truly love,” he said.
He added, “It’s paid me back a million times with love. That’s the lesson—what you think isn’t cool might be someone else’s favorite.”
The film also featured a young Megan Fox, who, like Nichols, went on to build a successful Hollywood career.
