Monroe & JFK
Late Hollywood icon Marilyn Monroe was rumored to be hiding a scandalous secret that could have shaken the U.S. political landscape just before her death.
According to sources, the actress was allegedly pregnant with John F. Kennedy’s child during his 1960 presidential run — and newly declassified FBI documents hint that rogue elements within the government may have orchestrated her death.
Newly uncovered photographs of Marilyn Monroe taken in July 1960 — during her time in New York City for hair and makeup tests for her final film, The Misfits — appear to show the Some Like It Hot star with a noticeably fuller midsection.
Though Monroe was celebrated for her iconic curves, sources claimed the images suggested she was developing a visible baby bump.
“You can clearly see her rounded, protruding belly — Marilyn was just beginning to show,” one insider remarked.
Monroe’s alleged secret was believed to pose a serious risk to JFK’s burgeoning political career — potentially jeopardizing his path to the presidency.
The explosive revelation resurfaced as part of the recent release of 80,000 documents tied to the investigation into President Kennedy’s 1963 assassination.
According to one insider: “Marilyn became pregnant midway through filming Let’s Make Love, where she starred alongside French actor Yves Montand. Although she was still married to playwright Arthur Miller at the time, she was reportedly having an affair with JFK.”
The insider added, “Miller assumed the baby belonged to the French heartthrob Montand, and Marilyn let him believe that. But deep down, she knew the child was JFK’s.”
Monroe reportedly first fell for John F. Kennedy in 1954, after meeting him at a high-profile Beverly Hills gathering. At the time, she was married to baseball legend Joe DiMaggio, and Kennedy was already wed to Jackie.
Sources claimed Monroe longed to one day become the president’s wife, despite her own high-profile marriages. “She had an affair with Kennedy while she was still with Joe, and later continued seeing him after marrying Arthur Miller. Their relationship heated up again in spring of 1960,” said the insider.
After her NYC photoshoot, Monroe returned to Los Angeles—just as JFK was officially nominated at the Democratic National Convention. That’s when she allegedly broke the news of her pregnancy to him.
JFK, worried about his political aspirations, supposedly told her she couldn’t keep the baby—devastating the Hollywood icon. Shortly afterward, Monroe flew to Nevada to begin filming The Misfits and was hospitalized for 10 days soon after her arrival.
Though Monroe’s 10-day hospital stay was publicly attributed to “exhaustion,” a source claimed the real reason was far more personal: “The truth is that Marilyn had an abortion,” the insider alleged.
Despite the heartbreak, Monroe continued her affair with JFK, reportedly holding onto hope that he would eventually leave Jackie for her. But in 1962, her breathy “Happy Birthday” performance for the president at Madison Square Garden crossed a line. According to the source, Jackie Kennedy was furious and demanded her husband cut ties with the actress for good.
“But Jackie never had any idea Marilyn had been pregnant—or had an abortion in secret,” the insider claimed. “If she had found out about a possible love child, it might have ended their marriage on the spot.”
Meanwhile, Monroe was also said to have drawn the attention of JFK’s younger brother, Robert F. Kennedy. Despite initially being tasked with keeping her at arm’s length, he reportedly also became enamored with her.
Before her tragic death in August 1962—officially ruled a probable suicide—Monroe was allegedly preparing to go public with her past pregnancy and affairs with both Kennedy brothers.
FBI documents suggest she was under surveillance at the time, and a government memo even referenced author Norman Mailer’s theory: that “right-wing” elements in the FBI and CIA had a powerful motive to eliminate her, potentially to bring scandal to the Kennedys and derail their political legacy.
