Justin Bieber has confessed to struggling with “anger issues” in a recent cryptic post that has sparked concern among fans.
The 31-year-old pop star has been opening up about his personal struggles on social media.
On Saturday (March 22), Bieber posted a series of raw and emotional updates to his Instagram, sharing intimate photos and heartfelt reflections.
“I got anger issues too, but I wanna grow and not react so much smh,” he wrote, accompanied by a facepalm emoji.
The caption was paired with three somber images — one showing him with his head bowed in a hoodie, another from his younger years, and a distant shot of what seems to be his son, Jack Blues, standing among cargo containers displayed on a screen.
Fans were left puzzled by the cryptic message, quickly flooding the comment section.
“Lately you’ve been posting some odd things, Justin… speaking as a mom, I hope you’re okay,” one fan commented. Another added, “We all have struggles. Sorry you’re going through it, but you’ll push through. Keep going.”
Later that day, the ‘Baby’ hitmaker shared a video of himself performing with a live band — but it was the caption that truly resonated with fans.
“I think I hate myself sometimes when I feel myself start to become inauthentic,” he admitted. “Then I remember we’re all being made to think we’re not enough, but I still hate when I change myself to please people.”
The vulnerable post sparked a flood of supportive messages from fans, many praising his openness.
“Thank you for staying true to yourself and for being so honest and vulnerable,” one follower wrote. “It’s not easy to be open, especially in a world that constantly makes us question if we’re enough.”
Another fan added, “Your awareness is powerful. You’re not just going along with it — you’re standing up to it, and that says so much about who you are.”
A third chimed in: “We love it when you share your thoughts with us. I hope the next album reveals a side of you we haven’t seen yet. Be vulnerable, be you — we’re always here for you.”
And another simply wrote: “We love and support you, Justin!! Forever.”
This isn’t the first time Bieber has taken to social media to share the emotional burdens he carries.
Earlier this month, the ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ singer, who found fame at a young age, opened up about feeling undeserving of the accolades he’s received throughout his career.
“People told me my whole life, ‘Wow, Justin, you deserve that,’” he wrote. “But I’ve always felt unworthy, like a fraud. When people say I deserve something, it makes me feel sneaky, like, damn, if they only knew my thoughts. How judgmental and selfish I really am… they wouldn’t be saying this.”
He continued, “I say all this to say, if you feel sneaky, welcome to the club. I definitely feel unequipped and unqualified most days.”
The candid post came amid heightened speculation surrounding Bieber’s health and mental well-being, particularly after a video surfaced of him appearing to smoke from what resembled a bong.
In response to the rumors, Bieber’s rep told TMZ: “The recurring narrative that Justin is using hard drugs is absolutely not true. Justin is currently in one of the best places in his life. He has had a very transformative year and ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”
The rep went on to describe the ongoing speculation as “exhausting and pitiful” and criticized the persistence of “negative, salacious, harmful narratives.”
They also confirmed that Bieber is now focused on “actively parenting his newborn son” and is channeling his energy into creating new music.
