Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was unaware that his phone conversation with Kanye West was being recorded and listened to by others.
Combs is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, facing severe federal charges such as racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and transporting individuals for prostitution.
Combs denies the charges.
The founder of Bad Boy Records was heard on a prison phone call with Kanye West, thanking him for supporting his sons, King and Justin Combs, while also opening up about the harsh reality of life behind bars.
However, a source close to Diddy claims that the hip-hop mogul had no idea he was being recorded.
Diddy’s Emotional Prison Call: “This S* Is Wicked”**
According to a source who spoke with the New York Post, Combs believed he was simply checking in with a friend and was unaware the call would be made public.
“Puff didn’t know it was being recorded [on video],” the source revealed. “He thought he was just having a friend call him to check on his kids.
Prison calls are typically recorded, but these recordings are usually not made public. Some had speculated that the leaked call was generated by AI, but the source confirmed: “The call was real, not AI.”
In the call obtained by The Shade Room, Combs voiced his frustration with his incarceration, saying, “Let me tell you real from the front line. This s**t is wicked, wicked, wicked, so you be careful. You can’t do nothing for just… I need you out there, you hear me?”
West responded, “Yeah, I hear you, yes sir.”
Diddy went on, sharing his plans for the future once he’s released: “This s**t is f**king sad. I’m Puff Daddy in jail. This s**t is f**king sad as hell. The devil is a liar.”
“When I get out and get my freedom, woo. I won’t care about anything except being happy. And I want you to feel that.”
Combs also expressed gratitude to West for taking care of his children, saying no one else had reached out to them since his arrest. Clearly touched, West replied: “I love you so much. It’s like you raised me even when I didn’t even know you.”
Diddy then cautioned Ye to be careful, hinting at a bigger conspiracy at play.
“They definitely trying to end us. I’m gonna beat this s**t and get next to you,” he said.
West reassured him, and Combs urged Ye to return to music, saying: “I dream about that.”
Meanwhile, Combs faces an increasing number of lawsuits.
A former adult entertainer in Las Vegas has accused him of forcing him into acts beyond what had been agreed upon. The lawsuit, reported by Rolling Stone, alleges: “Combs dehumanized the plaintiff, reducing him to nothing more than an object for Combs’ amusement and to satisfy his own sexual fetishes.”
The lawsuit further claims that Combs “gravely exploited the plaintiff, effectively imprisoning him and controlling him through covert surveillance and filming.”
Despite the serious allegations, Combs’ legal team denies any wrongdoing.
“No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it will not alter the truth that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex-trafficked anyone — whether man or woman, adult or minor,” his attorney stated.
“Thankfully, a fair and impartial judicial process is in place to distinguish fact from fiction, and Mr. Combs is confident he will prevail in court.”
