Philip Enewally, known online as P2istheName, has tragically passed away at the age of 26, as confirmed by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office.
Enewally’s body was discovered on Friday afternoon in a “mailroom,” though the authorities have not yet determined the cause of death.
His mother has publicly confirmed his passing, requesting privacy for the family as they mourn. She encouraged his fans to visit his YouTube channel to honor his memory during this difficult time.
An investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death is ongoing, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
Rising YouTube Star and Entrepreneur
Enewally first gained significant attention on YouTube through his NBA 2K and Fortnite gaming content, quickly amassing millions of views and growing a subscriber base of 3.86 million.
As his channel expanded, “P2” diversified his content to include Let’s Play walkthroughs, pranks, skits, and personal vlogs, offering fans a window into his daily life.
In addition to his YouTube career, Enewally recently ventured into entrepreneurship with the launch of his own clothing line, DontMindUs.
Tributes Pour In from Fans and Fellow YouTubers
The news of Enewally’s passing has left the online gaming community in shock. Fellow YouTuber COLETHEMAN expressed his grief on social media, writing, “My good friend @P2istheName has passed away… wow. I’m honestly at a loss for words. He was always so kind to me and gave me so much content creation advice. May he rest in peace. This breaks my heart.”
Fans have also expressed their sorrow online. One fan commented, “This man was my childhood, I still can’t believe this is real. May he rest in peace,” while another added, “Never been touched by a celebrity’s death like this one.”
Enewally’s most recent YouTube video, uploaded two weeks ago, has been inundated with tributes from heartbroken fans in the comments section. One fan wrote, “I pray that he made it in heaven and is at ease now from this fallen world. I pray his family finds peace through this mourning loss,” while another expressed, “Rest easy man, thank you for all the good content you brought to us.”
Plans to Relocate to Atlanta
In one of his final videos, Enewally shared his plans to move from Los Angeles to Atlanta. His recent uploads featured him packing his belongings and shipping out the last of his merchandise orders, alongside his Tesla Cybertruck.
Despite his ongoing work, Enewally had candidly discussed the challenges of being a content creator, reflecting on his feelings of being “lost” on YouTube and the decline in his viewership. He expressed uncertainty about the future of his channel, noting that while his recent videos garnered between 20,000 to 60,000 views, his earlier uploads had regularly reached millions.

Authorities have not released additional information regarding the circumstances surrounding Enewally’s death. The Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office continues its investigation.
